Dell PowerEdge T310 with Windows Server 2008

I would like to upgrade Windows Server 2008 to either Server 2012 or 2016. I changed the BIOS to boot from DVD. When installation starts. I get a message "No Drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, and than click OK" I am using an original disk for both 2012 and 2016, getting the same message. I have no idea what drivers they are talking about. Shouldn't the drivers be on the disk?

Your OS Installer which you have startet from DVD cant read your Disk because there is most likely the Driver for your RAID Kontroller still missing.   So think about what you have... S110 or Perc6, H310, H710 and download the driver package from dell.com and extract the content to a usb tumb stick.

If your T310 is where update ( i mean the OS Driver Package) you can try to initate a OS installation from the system setup.
