Dell R730 RAM configuration
Hi,
We are users of the Dell Poweredge R730 server.
We currently have one CPU (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2640 v4 @ 2.40GHz, Model 79 Stepping 1, 2400 MHz) and 64.00 GB of RAM (2 x DDR-4, 32.00 GB, Dual Rank, 2133 MHz modules).
We plan to add another identical CPU and four more identical RAM modules.
Is a configuration with a total of six identical RAM modules and two identical CPUs possible?
Thanks in advance.
Nikola

Dear Marco,
Thank you for your response. I don't have much experience with this type of equipment, so I apologize in advance for additional questions.
Three 32 GB DDR-4, Dual Rank, 2133 MHz DIMMS per CPU is OK?
Processor 1 - Slots A1, A5, and A9 (Channel 0)
Processor 2 - Slots B1, B5, and B9 (Channel 0)
Please advice.
Best regards,
Nikola
