Since you have not gotten any answers....
Assuming the raid interface IS ENABLED in the bios; it may not be due to a bios glitch or a weak battery. You could toggle the IRQ so the raid shows on another IRQ, if it shows at all. Disable any unused system devices in the bios, eg com ports, printer port, if unused
Shutdown and remove raid interface, start up until bios screen shows, shut down, reinstall the interface, restart. If that does not work, go into bios, document all settings, shutdown , clear the bios, by berg pin or remove battery for a short time, restart. If that does not work, remove cables from floppy, cdrom, remove any addin cards, restart...if that does not work, time for the sledge hammer or .357 Magnum.

Daniel, not sure what your status is on this...
If you are still having trouble and you've tried the suggested steps. Try these steps:
1. Reseat the ROMB controller components
2. Check for IRQ conflicts
3. Reseat the NVRAM
4. Update the Controller Firmware
5. If these don't correct the issue, then one or all of the following could be bad: PCI Riser, ROMB Memory, ROMB Battery
