iDRAC 8 - configure SMTP authentication using racadm
Hi,
I'm configuring a range of R730xd servers, and want to automate it as much as possible.
I use racadm to enable alerts and to select email alerts for all warning and critical alerts.
I can configure the email alerts fine, but I cannot figure out how to specify the SMTP authentication parameters using the racadm CLI. How do I do that? The options are under Alerts -> SNMP and Email Settings -> SMTP Server Address Settings in the iDRAC GUI. Specifically:
Enable Authentication
Username
Password

Pcore,
There are only a select few SMTP racadm commands available. If you follow this link and search for SMTP, it will reflect the commands supported.
Let me know if this manual helps.
