Once installed you will need to reboot. Then after reboot open Server Admin icon on desktop and then select HARDWARE LOG below system. From there you can clear it.
That error is presented when there is one remaining entry left in the Event Log. Depending on the OS you can clear the hardware log through Open Manaqe, or through a Dset. You can clear the System Event Log via the OS.
I am running Windows 2008 SBS SP2. I cleared the System Event Log the other day thinking this would fix the message - which it did not. Unfortunately I do not know what Open Manage or Dset are. Would you be able to expound?
Chris, thanks for taking the time to help me. The link above does not lead to the OMSA file. I was able to find something that appears to be the file on Dell's website:
OMI-SrvAdmin-Dell-WIN-440-32-339_NAS.exe
Just want to make sure it is the same one you were trying to point me to. Thanks again.

Certainly,
OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) is a Systems Mgmt software you can use to monitor and manage the server.
You can download your version here - http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/poweredge-t610?driverId=CWHRG&osCode=LHS64&fileId=3267736217&languageCode=EN&categoryId=SM
Once installed you will need to reboot. Then after reboot open Server Admin icon on desktop and then select HARDWARE LOG below system. From there you can clear it.

LeeGJr,
That error is presented when there is one remaining entry left in the Event Log. Depending on the OS you can clear the hardware log through Open Manaqe, or through a Dset. You can clear the System Event Log via the OS.
Let me know if this helps.

Sorry about the failed link, not sure how that happened. That is the correct version.

Hello,
Is there a way to clear the log without installing OM? This is not possible on our servers.
Thank you.
Best Regards
