IE7 FF2.0 on DRAC5

Question

Any idea when DRAc5 will support IE7 & FF 2.0? Common guys this are mandatory updates for many of us and not being able to view that console in the most common web browser versions is killing me!

I second this concern, and would like a resolution with all possible expediency. It is rather sadly ironic that there isn't a computer with a Windows OS that Dell currently sells that can use this (also Dell) product. My DRAC5 just arrived today, and it'll be on its way back in a couple weeks if new firmware isn't available. The support person was as helpful as he could be when I spoke with him today, and it's a shame that the software development effort isn't there to match.

From my limited understanding on how Dell works - their desktop (or client) side isn't in sync with the server (enterprise) side, which is also not really in sync with the firmware teams (IMC/BMC/DRAC). Lets all hope that one day they will ' be the reason' and when I buy Dell desktop (which did) and then buy Dell PE1950 (which I did) with DRAC5 card (which I did), the latest will be accessible.   On the other hand - from digging into this forum I've seen somewhere April as the next release date.

I am not allowed to comment on upcomming releases, but April is what I have been told.  This is not a simple software update, it requires a complete firmware update to the DRAC.
