IP Configuration and NIC Teaming
I have a Dell PowerEdge T430, with the dual NIC ports. I planned to use this as a VM Host and have already installed Hyper-V 2019 Server. It would be to run a small home network with only a couple PC's and several wireless devices, as well as something to tinker with. I have Windows Server 2016 installed as two VM's on the host. I planned to use one install as a domain controller and the other as a remote desktop configuration. I's like to install a few Linux VMs too. This is likely more than I need for a small home network but it gives me something to tinker with too.
My questions about the IP configuration have to do with where I should set the IP address. There is an option in BIOS to configure the IP Address for the NICs, as well as an option on Hyper-V Server to configure the IP Address. I planned to set the IP Addresses as static and don't know if I should configure this through BIOS, Hyper-V Server or both. I will also be using the iDRAC and will not be using either of the NICs for this purpose.
My other questions is about NIC Teaming and if there is any benefit for my purpose. I have a single 100MB internet connection (Xfinity) into an Arris SB8200, which then goes through my router, an Asus RT-AC3200. From the router, I have a switch, Linksys SRW2024, which both NICs on the server, and iDRAC, are connected to. Will setting up Link Aggregation on the switch for the two NICs provide me any benefit. Thanks.

Link Aggregation Benefits
Link aggregation increases bandwidth, provides graceful degradation as failure occurs, and increases availability. It provides network redundancy by load-balancing traffic across all available links.

Thanks for the answer. Any insight as to why setting it in Hyper-V Server is best. I've tried to find documentation on this but have not been successful.

Aeh.... the one and only reason why you can configure an IP within the BIOS or better LCC is that you can upgrade the FW through the LCC(LifeCycleController) and for that job the system needs an IP address. We never use this function and skip these steps within the wizzward when entering LCC first time.
We updating trough dedicated iDRAC, OS or with the plattform ISO image.
So you will configure your LAG/Bond as a "Team" within the windows server OS based on several Options. It will ends in a extra Adapter interface which will be picked up by the Hyper-V later.
