How does Dell structure it's parts commonality amongst the PowerEdge units? Are the commonality in the generation? For instance; would R930's share parts with Rx30's or R9xx units. I have a bare bones R930 with the four bay hdd drive sff. Im upgrading it to the 24 bay sff set up.

I dont know which part numbers to look for. Will the cages from a R630 have the same part number as my R930?

Is there a resource that lists the part numbers of our servers like in the automotive world?
