Question

Hi

Any ideas what to do about the following error I get in Server Administrator and Event Viewer (System log)?

Just bought 4 new servers a few weeks ago and 2 of the 4 started throwing this same error after about a week of being in the rack. Support just suggested reboot and reset. These are production high availability servers though, only have contractually set maintinence windows to work with. Can't be rebooting all the time. Anybody have any ideas? Bad batch of batteries maybe? Can this battery be replaced or does the whole board have to be swapped?

Did anyone every determine how to resolved this issue.  I have the same problem.

Primary solution was a firmware update.  One of the server's backplanes was in fact defective though and had to eventually be replaced.
