PE R740 AES-NI

Hello,

I am trying to find a way disabling CPU/AES-NI in BIOS security settings.

I see that is enabled by default but there is no disable option?

Will it be possible to disable AES-NI option and if yes how?

Regards

No, the document only states that the feature is ENABLED. No mention of disabling it and there is no disable option.

I know HP has their AES-NI enable/disable available...

Could you update BIOS first? You are supposed to choose enable/disable.

I did, setting remains the same. No option turning it off.

Trialex,

I just pulled it up in the lab and can confirm that there isn't an option to disable the feature currently. I don't have any details on if that feature will be added.
