PE T110ii IPMI not available when powered off
Hi all,
I have an old PE T110ii that needs to be powered on remotely.
WS 2022 Standard is installed on it.
I tried WOL but it doesn't work (it used to work when WS 2012 R2 was installed).
I configured the T110ii for IMPI on lan.
IPMI works when the T110ii is powered on.
But when the T110ii is off, IPMI is not available.
Is there a way to make it work?

Hi,
The last resort is to try use RACADM CLI via iDRAC, but I'm unsure if your server has the iDRAC configured. You can issue the command racadm serveraction powerup (Page 324: https://dell.to/3xTWwc8). There isn't any other way.

Thanks Joey-C, my T110ii doesn't have iDRAC installed.
However, I failed to mention that I managed to power up a few times the T110ii via IPMI.
So it is supposed to work.
But I don't know why sometimes (most of the time really) IPMI is not available.
Is there a list of BIOS and BMC configurations that need to be set to make it work?
