Poweredge 1600SC can't boot from CD
OS: Win2003 server , Bios A12, OpenManage Bios Boot sequence CD Rom First, Utility IDE CDRom passes tests, Setup Boot Sequence CD Rom not in list.
Cannot boot from the CD Rom!
Please help

I have just encountered a similar problem.

I tried changing the IDE 2 devices to auto detect. Hadn't worked for me before, even with several reboots with this set.
...however I just left it booting as I came to enter the previous message and hunt for some ideas.
When I retunred about 10 mins later, and went into setup, it had found the DVD!
Not sure why, but give it a try.
