PowerEdge 1750, 1850: Boot from USB floppy?

For PowerEdge models 1750 and 1850: Is it possible to boot from a USB-connected floppy drive? If so, can I simply plug the USB floppy drive in and boot the server or do I need to do something else?

(We have a few 1750s and 1850s that need BIOS and PERC upgrades, but their floppy drives aren't working properly. This is one possible quick solution to get the job done.)
