PowerEdge 2600 blinking red light on front panel.
What does the blinking red light on the front panel of the PowerEdge 2600 server mean?
Instead of the normal blue light, the red light to the left blinks.
I did a search through the knowledge base for this problem and could only find one article describing a set of five LED's. I can only find four LED's on the front panel for this server. And, I cannot find any articles describing the errors associated with colored lights.
The LED I'm referring to is the third in a line of four on the front panel just above the drive bays.

I checked out the online users guide and if I have found the correct LED the server has detected an error. Use Server Administrator (If installed) and view the error logs. Hopefully this will give you some idea of the area to look.
