Poweredge 6650 RHEL3 Network Issues

Here is the scenario, hoping someone can help:

Product Name: PowerEdge 6650

Bios Version: A17

Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon Update 5)

We are having network connectivity issues.  As you can see by the above messages there is a timeout issue.  Any ideas would be more than welcomed.  I have tried pci=noacpi in grub but to no avail.  Time is limited on this box as it is production and cannot be taken down to frequently.

Forgot to add to previous post.  I see dell has a broadcom 5700 series driver in rpm format.  Does anyone else have experience using drivers in this fashion.  I have never used a vendor specific driver for anything.

That explains the DKMS drivers you are referring to. They will build a module for your OS so you must also have the kernel-devel package installed.

 

I have seen the Dell drivers resolve odd problems like this before as well.
