Poweredge R910 BIOS is really old.

Hi,

I had a rather significant failure on my R910 this week.  It is running ESXi 5.0 and many of my VMs crashed, and the remaninig VMs entered "read-only" mode with their storage.  This means that they could not contact the storage array within the R910.  My server has:

4.5 TB usable storage (ten 600Gb hard drives) - SAS drives Raid 5 with one (1) hot spare

• Ten (10) 600GB 10K RPM Serial-Attach SCSI 6Gbps 2.5in Hotplug Hard Drives
• Sixteen (16) 2.5-Inch hard drive available slots; Ten of these slots currently in use (ten 600Gb hard drives)
• RAID 5 for PERC H700 Controller (Non-Mixed Drives)

This machine has been in service since 2011, and has suffered a motherboard failure (1 year ago), and now this.  I am thinking of opening a ticket regarding this current problem, but quite frankly there is no evidence in any log files that anything happened.  The iDRAC logs contain no entries on the subject, and neither does the ESXi server.  Looking at the iDRAC during this event would have me believe that nothing at all was wrong.  I suspect that DELL Support will want me to update my BIOS and as many firmwares as I can find in this box, but I don't know where to start.  Please help.
