PowerEdge T110 II Error Flashing Indicator
We just lost the network connection to our PowerEdge T110 II server. It reboots ok and seems fine otherwise but is flashing a red symbol on the front that I haven't seen before. Voltage indicator? http://mlird.org/images/IMG_5868.jpg
Ideas???

Hello @98837,
This is the System Health Indicator. The system health indicator blinks amber when a system fault is detected.
You can check this article to perform a hardware test: How to Run Hardware Diagnostics on your PowerEdge Server
Regards.

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. To be honest in my opinion No Post is one of the hardest to tackkle. Would you start the system with only 1 memory plugged? This is such an old model there hasn't been much update on the manual but you could also refer to this.

Wish you a good one.

We purchased a new server machine power edge t110 ii and changed the drive from hdd to ssd sata.. the machine will work well after a day or two then it gives amber light and will not power on again. Please advice what we should do or what could be the problem. Thank you.

Hello,
Did the issue start after changing hard drives?
Can you post image of the hard drive label showing the Dell Part Number (DP/N)?
I can check if the drives are validated.
Try a flea power drain and check results:
drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed).
After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in,
Then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.
What do the LED indicators show?

our PowerEdge T110 II server. : It reboots ok and seems fine otherwise except the system randomly freezes and is flashing a red symbol on the front.
Will trouble shoot further.

Silasw,
Would you confirm a few things for me?
What is the OS on the server?
What are the diagnostic lights doing, as seen on page 17-18 here?
Is anything reported in the logs, and if so what do you see?
Is the server up to date on BIOS, iDrac, Raid controller, etc?
Could you share a picture of the ion you see flashing as well?
If you have a Windows based OS, have you gone to Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced system settings > Startup and Recovery > Settings, then uncheck the box next to "Automatically restart" under System failure?
I ask as it sounds like it could be an OS issue, and if there is a stop code being displayed before the server reboots, this will allow you to see what it is.
