Poweredge T110 II Memory Upgrade
Hello,
I just bought Hynix memory upgrade for my Poweredge T110 II but it doesn't seem to be recognized by the server... The specs are 8Gb 2Rx8 PC3L - 12800R - DDR3-1600MHZ - 1,35V - ECC - DIMM(240PIN) - CL11
Part number = HMT41GR7AFR8A-PB
did I buy the wrong memory ??

After reviewing the specs of the DIMM you shared, there are a few things I wanted to share. The documentation I have shows that the T110II server had no RDIMM support, it supports unbuffered DIMMs only, and the DIMM you have shows to be registered. The other thing you may want to double check is that with that being a 1600MHz DIMM, you would want to confirm that your server has an Ivy Bridge based processor. The Sandy Bridge based systems didn't support 1600MHz.
