Poweredge T320 stuck CPLD version

Hi, i've turned on yesterday an old server, it will follow POST till CPLD Version 100 is displayed. 

I can login remotely to idrac and updated firmware. 

I've tried removing and swapping RAM still no luck. 

The front display bios followup (pressing 5sec i button) will show checking PCI. 

Tried leaving the computer alone 2hs and stuck on that screen. 

I can access RAID configuration Ctrl+r without problems.

Trying to enter bios will swap legend to entering bios but nothing happens. 

 

Any ideas?

Hello,

 

I would take the server to a minimum to POST configuration and see if the system will continue through POST. You mentioned being able to use the iDRAC web interface, I'd also make sure that the BIOS and the iDRAC are up to date. 

Minimum to POST configuration:

•System Board
•CPU1 with heat sink
•Single DIMM in A1
•Control Panel with cable (to power system on)
• PSU (and for redundant PSU also the PDB/PIB)
