Hi
It is the KCC-REM-E2K-UCPM-800 (A).
Already have reseated the controller, removed it completely and reseated as well, no change error still remains. Error show after memory and iDRAC check has been completed, as per screenshot attached.

Hi
Have done that as well, see attached screen shot. RAID battery cable has also been reseated, no change.

beautiful day,
I have the same problem. The virtual disk is ok, according to the BIOS. The hard disks themselves are online. Is there any clue as to where the problem could be?
Many thanks in advance

All firmware up to date: BIOS, iDRAC, PERC, etc.?
Did the card come with the system, or did you add it after the fact? Is it in an integrated storage slot? If not, try it in a different slot (if there is another slot; if it is in an integrated storage slot, then it can only go in that slot).
Make sure to try reseating the card and its cables, but the updates are probably the most important part.
If you have done all this, then the card is likely faulty.

When changing the RAID controller, will the files on the hard drives be lost?

Replacing the raid controller will not delete any data from the disks connected to the controller. You will be able to import the configuration once controller is replaced. Which server and raid controller model you have?

Hi guys
sorry to bump into such an old thread... but i am now having the same error on my Dell R420...
so first things first... i did a bios upgrade, idrac lyfecycle, H720 raid controller latest firmwar upgrade etc...
then i swapped the cpus e5-2470v2 2 , i did and upgraded on the memory from 32GB to 128GB.. added 2 HDDS.. total 4 HDDs..
total 4 hdds sas 600gb.. booted machine just fine, setup raid5 on the device.. everything went fine, imported the hdds, format etc.. then reboot machine.. with win10 working fine on all the testing...
rbeooted the machine couple of tims whilst doing updates on wind 10 etc...
shutdown the machine.. and i was done for the day...
next day morning powered up the machine to do some work on it.. and same exact PCIe training error on the raid..
i tought i was the h710 controller could have gone .. so o bought another h710.. plugged it in the server fired up and the exact same error.. PCI-e training error..
so i had an old R620 laying around with a E2K-UCS-61B SAS 6/IR card in it.. i removed it and placed it in the Dell R420 pci slot, powered the sas cable in the backplane of my dell r420 only has 1 backplane for the 4 hdds.. with 1 SAS 6gbps connector... and powered up the server again.. and it did recognise the SAS 6/IR raid controller and bootted back with the 4 HDDS.. formatted and mounted new RAID.. installed windows 10 again and working.
so i am now wondering.. i got a faulty h710 raid controller and bought another faulty also.. sownds weird..
anyways moved forward and tried to install CENTOS 9 on the machined.. and ofcourse the SAS6/IR card is old not detected on the CENTOS 9 drivers.. so therefore no RAID disks are detected.. only windows 10 seems to be recognized..
could it be something on the BIOS? uefi or any other ODD function enabled that is blocking the H710 from working on the server?

Hello, first thing that came to my mind is that the card might be faulty. Do you think it's possible for you to get another one and try and if you still see the same?
Respectfully,
