R440 + internal LTO

Good morning community,

 

I have an R440 server including a dell 12Gpbs SAS HBA external controller card

I was asked a few days ago if it was possible to connect an internal LTO6 server to this external controller card (in order not to buy a new LTO as i'm having one not used)

Of course the cable given with the controller card is not compatible with my internal LTO

So that would mean purchase a specific wire with the good connectors at both sides + i guess, have an external power supply for my LTO of course.

Has anyone already experienced a working solution like this?
