R760 - Change NVME drives from direct mode to HWRAID?
Hi,
R760 came with a PERC12 H965i with 16 SAS drives. It also includes 5 NVME direct drives, which I assume means they are not connected to the PERC12. They certainly do not show as part of the physical disks of the controller. But looks like this was an oversight, the idea would be to have the NVME drives also connected to the PERC12, so they could form a single RAID volume with redundancy, but it didn't come configured that way. Is it still possible to achieve this configuration with this server? If so what would be required to do?

I think right now what you have is Figure 16. Configuration 15: 16 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA + 8 x 2.5-inch NVMe with fPERC (H965i)
But I think that you need to change to
Figure 27. Configuration 26: 24 x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA with 8 universal (SAS/SATA/NVMe) slot and fPERC (H965i)
