Recover data from hard drives
Hi! I have a PowerEdge 1750 that was software RAID'd as a RAID 5 with 3 drives. Drive 0 died, but the other two are fine. I got a new drive, but now I want to try to recover data off the 2 good drives, if possible. Will someone please suggest a scenario in which to do this? Thanks!

Take the BAD drive all the way out.
Put the new drive in and re-insert into the backplane. Just the new drive do nothing with the OK drives.
Boot to the CTRL A or CTRL F screen and initialze the new drive in the slot where the bad drive was.
Then shut down.
Put all the drives back.
Power back on and go back into the CTRL A or CTRL T or whatever the RAID BIOS screen is and it should say rebuilding. Wait for it to say 100 percent rebuilt and then reboot the server.
