Hi,
In my Poweredge 2600 Server, From yesterday I got the following error:
"Single-bit Error logging disabled"
It was found in Openmanage. Anyone has an Idea what it means?

Thanks

I have the same error on my PE 1750.  If you find out what it means, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks
Mike

I found similar error messages after I ran utility checking memory on my PE1600sc. It repeats the same error log every time. Is there a way to clear this error log?

Thanks

Take out the affected RAM  and clean the slot from dust. interchange this memory with another one in other slot. Then see you get the error again. some unclean slot may cause this issue.

I did that. The error reports on slot B But there is no memory on slot B now. I get the same error message, date and time every time I ran memory test (express option). It seems like it scan the old log file and stop when it comes across the error message. I clear all event logs in OS and also clear NVRAM with jumper as well as remove cmos battery. The same message remain in the log, just can't get rig of them.
Thanks

So you recognized its not the problem of the Memory but with Slot, right? I insist to cross check the slot B, use a blower to clean it well.
Clear all the logs in open manage. Do you get warning or error log in the open manage regarding the memory?
thanks

I spray all memory slots with can air, used different memory sticks. I got the same error at slot B. I clear all event log in windows. I am suspecting my mother board is causing the problem.

Thanks all for sugestion.
