System Status indicator is flashing Amber

Hello.

We have a Dell PowerEdge 800 with 380Meg Ram, 2 80gig HDD.

The System Status indicator is flashing Amber.  I know the User's Guide says "The amber system status indicator flashes when the system needs attention due to a problem with power supplies, fans, system temperature, or hot-plug hard drives.", but how do we troubleshoot what the problem is?

The Dell™ PowerEdge™ 800 Systems Installation and Troubleshooting Guide tells you how to troubleshoot a particular component if you know what component is causing the problem, but how do we find what component is causing the problem?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
