T310 wont update and wont install os
Hi all,
I bought this server for educational purposes. This is my first server but i cannot get it to install server 2012 r2 ( is supported according to dell) but i can get it to updates and install server 12. I added pictures. Can some one help me in de right direction please. I tried boosting from dvd but i get black screen. Same with boosting from usb. The Lifecycle that i see on youtube i dont have. Mine bios even looks different.
Please help

Try using the menu driven installation from this Dell Systems Build and Update Utility, v2.4

I would recommend burning to DVD as an Image. Some USB drives may not work, so try different ones if you intend to use thumb drive.

Thanks for your answer, i was able to reach the idea but problem is the server cannot make connections with internet. I downloaded the drivers an put it on an usb but i get error. I tried using the ftp option but when i do an internet test i get the error message that it failed. I added pictures can you tell me what direction i need to look at. Please
