T320 Drive Caddy Stuck
I purchased a T320 with 8 hot swap drive bays. It was configured with two drives installed in caddies. I am unable to physically remove either of these drives. When I push the button and flip the lever out I can feel the drive release, however I cannot pull them out. I can wiggle them a bit, but that is about it.
I have bought an extra caddy and can insert and remove it without any issues.
Is there some trick I am missing for removal of the two drives that were factory installed?

Get a can of Teflon spray lubricant (Bordens or Remmington)( type which only leaves a dry film of teflon )... will not hurt servers as the Teflon dispersion and solvents are non conductive. Spray cables, drive bays etc., it may or may not release the stuck bay but will help in the future. Liberally spray into the slot area, dries in a minute, I use it on all server installs.

This shows how simple it *should* be:
If you're following the steps shown here and still having issues, definitely contact Dell directly for assistance.

I would bet money that the screws that hold the drive inside the caddy weren't tightened enough and the screw heads are catching.

Yeah had the same thing. First I put my drive all the way in the front instead of flush with the back, so the hole I was using for the screw cause them to stick out just 1 mm or so.
Had to give them a quick sharp yank to get them free. Some took 5-10 yank before I got it out.
No need to be too force full, you don't want to break the lever. Sharp and quick is the trick I think
