T440 stuck at Initializing Firmware Interface

Hi All,

A server Dell PowerEdge T440 was found stuck at Initializing Firmware Interface.

Tried to update BIOS - didn't help.

Tried to clear NVRAM but changing jumper position and reverting back - didn't help.

Checked storage section in iDRAC.

I can't attach screenshot as the server is not accessible now but under Summary, Controllers, Physical Disks, Virtual  Disks and Enclosures is marked with red colour and none of those components found.

Then I tried to perform minimum to POST and as soon as I pulled out this device the server started to pass Initializing Firmware Interface phase.

As I understand it is a RAID controller.

Is there a chance that the issue can be sorted by updating RAID controller firmware or most likely it is faulty and should be replaced?

Thanks in advance.
