U.2 Drive support - do all R640 servers support it?
Hello all -
I got a R640 server with 8-Bay 2.5 chassis - below is the details
I inherited the server and is now out of warranty so posting here. Does this chassis support U.2 drives? I plugged in a drive and initially it lights up green, but few seconds later it just starts flashing green. So I wonder if the chassis is not meant to support U.2 drives?
How can I check the server to see if the drive is actually present? It does not show up in the Raid controller (which is expected because U.2 is not managed by Raid card).
