VSAN with dell R740xd

The ConnectX-3 pro firmware for the R740xd can be found here. I am not seeing an available driver for Esx 7, so the embedded one is likely the best option.

When the HCL listet a driver as type "Partner Async, native" than its not part of the VMware Vanilla ISO/Embedded install media.  The HCL listet Firmware "2.42.5000" as the right one.

If you only have one of those NICs you need to inject the driver into the ISO first to creating your own install media.  If not you need temporarily a simple broadcom/intel nic which is supporty through the VMware/Dell ISO to get ESXi up and running.
