Adding a 2nd vd

I have a T320 server, with 3 sas 300gb disks, connected to a perc h310 controller in a raid5 configuration. I bought 2 new ssd drives, and would like to add them as a separate raid1 vd. When I go into the raid management (ctrl+r) and start configuring them, at the end of the process I get a warning: "if any modifications are applied, the virtual disk configuration is lost on all the virtual disks in the system" Is it really going to erase my raid5 config? What is the correct way of dealing with this?

Effiecgu,

Would you confirm that the controller is up to date on firmware, as well as if you had changed any controller settings between the two Virtual Disk configuration? The H310 does support multiple Virtual Disks, so let me know and we can go from there.

Following your question, I have updated the firmware to the latest I could find, and I was able to create the 2nd vd with the new disks I added. Thank you
