Adding a raid to a t105

I noticed the T105 on sale for $249.  What's the least expensive way to add Raid 1 to this box?  There's nothing built into the motherboard to support this in software?  On my other Dell desktops, I just download a driver from Intel and it supports Raid 1.  I don't need hi-speed hardware; software Raid would be fine.  I'd just like to use this box as an NAS.  I saw the SAS6 controller card for $199 but that takes the bargain out of this deal.

regards, David

The t105 supports the SAS5/iR controller which is about $110 and it supports RAID 0 and RAID 1.  See link below.

If you don't mind using software based RAID, then you can use Windows to do so.

See, "How to Manage Dynamic Disks".

I would recommand the hardware RAID controller though...

just what I'm trying to do.  SAS 5/IR controller doesn't have any SATA ports!!  Unless there's some other cable which is not included, I've got no idea how you'd connect them.  After hours with tech support on hold, they're sending me the SAS 6/ir, which like you said, takes the 'good deal' out of the equation.  Only Dell controllers seem to work with this box.
