*** Array Manager Device Manager problem-CODE 19

Hi,

PowerEdge 2600 with PERC4 array, Windows 2000 Server, SP4.

I have a BANG on the Array Manager Device Driver in the System Devices section.  The properties indicate:

"Your registry might be corrupted (Code 19)

Can anyone suggest what this might be?

Thanks,

Jack

I'm having the same problem.  I recently uninstalled Open Manage to prepare for the latest version (4.4) and also did my bios, esm, NIC, raid driver and firmware updates.  I noticed that Array manager still seems to be on the system, so I'm wondering if I should try to uninstall it as well.  On another server, it was gone once I uninstalled Open Manage.

Anyway, I'd like to get the new version of OM on the system and get this upgraded from Win2000 to 2003 server, but I"m hesitant to proceed until this is cleared up.  I don't like the words registry corrupted!

Just uninstalled Array Manager and the problem seems to have gone away.

Did you unintall from "Add/Remove Programs" or from within Device Mgr? I'm having the same issue, but OpenManage does not seem to be installed anywhere on the server.

Thanks,

Matthew

I've installed OpenManage 5.2 on a few servers (2650 and 4600) that have Perc 3di and get this error.  This seems to happen on all servers that have 5.0 and up versions of OpenManage.

Anyone have a solution?  I wouldn't mind, but my servers are rebooting every 4 days and this is the best thing that I see in the logs that might be causing it.

Thanks!
