Cannot create Virtual Disk
Using Open manage I cannot create another virtual disk
PE6400 Perc 2D controller
5x 36Gb disks, 2 are configured as R1 Mirror
Trying to create another virtual disk R5 with the other 3 disks, when right clicking & selecting create virtual disk the other unassigned 3 36GB disks do not show either in express or advanced mode
any ideas anyone ?

Are you using Dell OpenManage Array Manager or Dell PERC Console? If it's Array Manager, what version is installed, and what is your present PERC 2/dc firmware and driver revision? Can you expand to see the devices listed under "Backplane", and do any of them have yellow "bang" warning signs on them? If you click on the Create Virtual Disk button, can you select the three unused disks?
You also stated your controller was a Dell PERC 2/d. Is this a PERC 2/DC (which has an AMI/LSI BIOS), or is it possible that you mean it is a Dell PERC II (which has an Adaptec BIOS)? This is crucial to answering your questions.
