cannot use ghost to backup the system

Question

I try to boot at dos mode, and run ghost8.2   The ghost show a system error when I backup the C drive, it's RAID 1 mirroring.   The system error is 'internal error 36000'.

Oh. NO. The ghost is working fine for the RAID 5, but fail for RAID 1.   Any suggestion to backup the windows 2003 system ?   Thanks!

Typically, you can use other native and 3rd party programs.  You can use NT Backup that ships with Windows Server 2003 to backup System State, folders, network folders, and even Exchange if loaded on the machine.  Many sysadmins use Veritas Backup Exec to backup thier domains.

If you are using raid 1 mirroring, break the mirror and then ghost it. after you are done recreate the mirror
