Can’t Use RAID 5 With Linux
Hi! I’m trying to setup RAID 5 on my PowerEdge T150 which has 4 1TB HDDs, which I believe has a PERC S150 RAID Controller. I’m wanting to install Ubuntu Server 22.04 which I have already flashed to a USB. In system config (F2) I’ve converted my drives all to Linux RAID. When I setup the virtual disk though it only allows 2 drives in RAID 1. If I convert the drives to Windows RAID, then I can select my RAID level, but I don’t think this would work because I want to run Linux. How can I fix this so I can run RAID 5 with Ubuntu?
Maybe related, no drives show up in iDRAC, but when in lifecycle controller all 4 show up fine.
