Consistency check

Dear All,
Has anybody experience how long the consistency check will be run on approx 1TB (RAID-5)?
I just need to know the time how long will it take.

Depends on disk rpm, disk electronics, disk algorithms, number of disks in the array, raid adapter speed, scsi bus speed,  block size, motherboard cpu, server resident programs, to name a few variables.  

Clients array of 273 Gig takes 3 hours and 10 minutes. A TB array, bare min 10 hours

If you have an LSI controller the rebuild rate will also determine how quickly the consistency check completes. The higher the rebuild rate the more resources of the controller will be devoted to the check. If you set it to 100% it would be best if no one was using the server for a 24hr period/
