Dell VMware Offline Bundle
Hi,
I run several Dell T310/410 servers with various RAID controllers, most commonly the Dell PERC H700. with VMware ESXi.
I have an issue where the MOB (https://(HOST_IP)/mob/?moid=ha-host&doPath=runtime.healthSystemRuntime.hardwareStatusInfo.storageStatusInfo) shows no information. The information is referenced by our Remote Monitoring Suite and such we're receiving multiple errors and are unable to monitor the server storage.
Does anyone have any advise on how to get this MOB populated correctly?

I'm not sure of the specifics of how VMwares Managed Object Browser works. Our OpenManage product line is what we use for management and monitoring. If your monitoring application uses MOB to pull data then I would recommend that you disable the storage monitoring if MOB is not populating it.
I am not aware of a way to get MOB to populate storage data. I would suggest that you reach out to VMware to find out what sensors MOB picks up. I suspect our RAID controllers do not send the information MOB is looking for.
