Failed Redundancy

Hi All
we have a poweredge 700 with CERC SATA Raid controller and two 160GB drives on raid one configuration. Last week one of the dirves failed, replaced it with a new drive and after rebooting the Raid didnt rebuild automatically, here is wat I see in Array manager:
Under array group 0 i see a "Virtual Disk 0" and the status is "failed redundancy".
the new hard disk is showing there as an empty hard drive.

any advice?

We have about 20 PE700 with CERC RAID controller connected to two 250GB SATA drives (Maxtor MaxLine Plus II).

All these servers were purchased end of last year. About one month ago first HD get broken and it was replaced. Everything were fine but then another one of these servers did not work anymore. It did reboot itself again and again and.... At support they first tought of course that HD were broken because controller did not see it anymore. When service man came to replace the disk, he did not get it to work. It seemed that RAID controller have been freak out.

After these, two HD's have get broken. It seems that we think twice if we get anymore ATA disks on servers.
