HDD SPEED is 3GB/S INSTEAD OF 6GB/S
Hi guys!
I have a dell POWEREDGE T320 with PERC H310. Based on the specs of H310, it can support speed of upto 6gb/s. I have 2 HDDs(Toshiba MG03ACA100) and as I've searched, it is capable of 6gb/s speed. However as I've checked using the IDRAC7 remote service, the negotiated speed is set only to 3gb/s.
Screenshot below.
Is there a way to change it to 6gb/s??

Is it a Dell co-branded drive? If it is not a certified drive, the drive may not have the proper programming to negotiate a 6Gbps connection. I would make sure your controller and drive firmware are up to date.
