I stopped the disk initialization on the RAID-1 I created.
hi everyone.
I'm really dumb because I don't understand things well.
I created a Raid1
Then I installed my operating system.
After the OS was installed, I noticed the initialization was still going at 27%
So I stopped it!
Now I'm reading online that the process of initialization is VERY important and should not be interrupted for the stability of the RAID system in the future.
When I go into openmanage and select to run the "initialize disk task" it warns me that data loss will occur.
So I'm afraid to do it, because I don't want to destroy my OS.
What are my options?
Would doing a "check consistency" accomplish the same thing?
Thanks so much for any responses!
Cheers :)
