Is PERC H700 support to interposer?
We have dell R410 server as ERP system.It is in RAID 5 configuration with PECRC H700 controller.It has 3 SAS 300 GB HDD drives.We have decided to upgrade HDD to SSD.So we got 3 SATA 480 GB DELL SSD drives. While SATA drives connect to Backplane it is not rebuilding (shows online only).So we undrestood SATA and SAS drives cannot share in same array.On this matter
1.Can we use interposer card to convert SATA to SAS.
2.If yes mention a card model please?
3.Is interposer card disable the hotswap option?

Can we use interposer card to convert SATA to SAS.
From what I see, if the server has a backplane, it should be fine. You might not even need an interposer.
If yes mention a card model please?
No

Like I was saying earlier, I don’t ’think you’d need interposer if you have a backplane server.

Thank you for your response.
My current RAID array run with 3 SAS HDDs.
Can I mix this SAS HDD and SATA SSD in same RAID array with same Backplane?
I already SATA SSD pluged in to backplane.its Not showing any errors.But drive not rebuilding.could you please advice on this matter.
