Need to confirm the HDD compatibility as some specs differs
Please find the hard drives specifications and images which are existing in the running server and which is available with me.
Existing hard drive in the server:
Make: Dell
Model: MBE2147RC
Part No.: CA07069-B20400DE
Size: 146 GB
VDC: +5VDC - 12VDC
AMPS: 0.40 A - 0.84 A
Data Transfer rate: 600 Mb/sec
RPM: 15K
Manufacturer: Toshiba Corporation
Hard drive available with me:
Make: HP
Model: DG146ABAB4
Part No.: 431954-003
Size: 146 GB
VDC: +5VDC - 12VDC
AMPS: 0.30 A - 1.00 A
Data Transfer rate: 300 Mb/sec
RPM: 10K
Manufacturer: Seagate Technology
After analyzing the above specifications, I found the main differences between existing Dell and available HP HDD are there are mismatch between AMPS (Current rating), Data Transfer Speed and RPM. I shall be obliged if someone from ace Dell experts can help me to confirm that whether the existing faulty Dell HDD can be replaced with HP HDD available with me.

Umap,
I am not seeing anything showing that drive as being supported, but you can try it in the server to see if it does see it or not. I don't believe it will, but you can try it. In the future it would also help if you specify the model system this is for as well.

Thanks for the info you provided. The model system I am going to try this on is Dell PowerEdge R710.
