PE2950/PERC5i/BBU controller problems?

Hi,
 
I have a PE2950 w/ BBU(battery backup unit).
 
but it has a problem.
 
when I do CLI command, omreport, I got a mesage below.
 
# omreport storage battery
ID 0
Status non-critical
State charging
 
Is that no problem?
does anyone know that ?
 
Also does anyone know BBU in detail?
when charging? when discharging? and about BBU functions.

Hi jonnychoe,
 
   Well I found a bit in the manual under battery management features, and yes a status of charging is normal if the system has been off for a while, or if the battery is in a learn cycle.
 
The learn cycle is a deep discharge of the battery followed by a re-charge, and is needed to keep the battery healthy.
