Perc 6/i Memory Error
Hi,
I recently took out my Perc 6/i from my Poweredge 2950 and put it back in. Upon booting, I get this error:
RAID Adapter
Memory Error!!!
Please check the SDRAM connection.
I have re-seated the card multiple times and it still doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Griffin,
Normally this error indicates that the memory on the device is faulty or not present. If you have a dimm mounted to the card would you try reseating it. If it still doesn't work then try removing the system memory and installing the perc dimm in slot a1 and see if it sees the dimms. If the controller doesn't have a dimm, and continues to error after reseat, it may be an issue with the controller itself.
