PERC 6i RAID1 with Suse
Have read elsewhere about possible problems with Dell's PERC controllers and SAS drives (RAID1) and Suse Linux. We're planning on purchasing a new Dell PE 1950 III server with the PERC 6i contrroller and running Novell's OES2 on top of Suse. Can anyone comment on this, pro or con? If there is a problem, is there a known fix?

Yes, it is fixed now. The problem was SLES10-GA installation on some AMD boxes, fixed on SLES10-SP1.
