PERC H710P - SSD Cache

I am looking at purchasing a Dell with the H710P RAID controller.  I know this RAID controller can use an SSD as a cache.

I don't really want to have a single point of failure on the cache, can the cache be configured to use a pair of SSD in RAID 1?

The manual mentions setting up SSD in RAID 0, but no mention of RAID 1.  Since the drive is acting as a read only cache, there would be no data loss in the event of failure but my concern would be actual downtime.  How does the controller act if the SSD becomes unavailable to to failure.

After the CacheCade virtual disk is created successfully, it is listed in the Virtual Disk Management screen under the CacheCade disk group, and is labeled as a CacheCade virtual disk. The virtual disk has an optimal state and its RAID level is RAID0.
