Hi,

It is not a validated controller on the C6220.

We haven’t validated PFsense, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work from the SD card.

I actually don't need controller but I don't thing I can access any HDD without any controllers I have 2x2u node on that server all I need for a single HDD on each node. Actually I can installed the pfSense on the SD Card right I just have to buy a larger and faster SD Card. That will do the job right?

I have currently C6220 2x2U NODE my RAID Controller card is LSI SAS 9210-8i I want to upgrade to lsi sas 2008 Mezzanine card

From what I see the manual Figure 3-28 cables are the same as main on 9210-8i. I have LSI SAS 2008 Mezz with cables as Figure 3-42. On Figure 3-43 Mini-SAS/SGPIO Cable is the same as main

My question is Can I use main Mini-SAS/SGPIO Cable from 9210-8i and replaces with (Figure 3-42) Cable 1
