PERC H730P Mini shows wrong backplane...
Hi there
I have a PowerEdge 740 with a Perc H730P Mini installed.
The SAS backplane is the 8 x 3.5" type, yet when I look at the storage overview in the iDRAC it shows a server with 8 x 2.5" drives installed... I bought the server used, so maybe some components have been swapped around... everything works OK, but the graphics would be nice to match the real world if possible... ?

Hello Beardmann,
It is possible the system has 3.5" drive slots and the drives are 2.5" using a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter carrier.
Have you checked it against the original build?
