PERC3-DCL configuration question
I inhereted a PowerEdge 1550 server with (2) 18GB drives. When setting up the PERC I created two logical drives, one for each hard drive. When I boot the machine I get a message saying there is no recovery partition, press f1 to continue or f2 to edit the configuration.
I managed to get it to boot into Win2k Server setup but the installer could not see the two volumes I setup. What did I do wrong? I'm used to the Compaq SmartArray configuration and am totally lost with the PERC configuration. All I want to do is to get Windows 2000 Server installed. It can't be that hard, what am I missing?

Did you use F6 to load the perc drivers? If you did not load the drivers then windows will not see the hdd's. The drivers can be found here.
